The "Bid" button appears blue when the auctioneer calls for a sale. The displayed amount will then increase according to the increments set by the auctioneer.
You must have registered for the auction before you can see this. If you have registered and still cannot see it, you may have accidentally clicked on "View Auction". Simply select the red "Register to Bid" button. You will then be asked for your login details.
If you have registered for an auction:
- Find the auction on our site.
- Select "Live Bidding".
- Go to "Sign In".
- Enter your password and confirm.
Please note that bidding online as well as in the auction room legally obliges you to purchase.
When you bid in an auction, you cannot return the lot. An exception only applies if the lot significantly deviates from the description in the catalogue.
Therefore, we recommend that you inform yourself sufficiently about the desired lot before bidding. You can contact the auctioneer directly for this and request a condition report or additional photos.
