How do I place bids in a live auction?

You must be registered for the auction and accepted by the auction house in order to bid. When the auction begins, the "Go to Live Auction" button will become available; clicking it will direct you to our live bidding system.

To participate in the auction:

1. Click on "Bid Now".
2. Enter your password.
3. Click on the speaker button to follow the auctioneer (this will only be shown if the auction has enabled audio transmission).
4. If the auction house also provides a video, the live stream will automatically appear in the top right corner.

To place a bid:

1. Wait until the amount you want to bid is displayed on the screen.
2. Click the blue bid button to place a bid for the displayed amount.
3. As long as your bid is the highest bid, the bidding area will be green and a message will appear saying "You are currently the highest bidder".
4. If you are outbid, the area will turn blue again and the message will disappear.

If you win a lot, the auction house will contact you to discuss payment and delivery details. If you wish to speed up the process, you may also contact the auction house yourself.

Always bear in mind that bidding (whether online or in the room) legally obliges you to purchase.
